Chris Burns

Preparedness Manager

Chris has worked in the preparedness side of the Alaska Chadux Corporation since September of 2003 and currently serves as the Preparedness Manager. He manages Chadux’s training and exercise program and oversees health and safety programs as well. With support from other Chadux employees, Chris provides training, C-plan review, and site audit services for member companies or other clients.

During spill responses, Chris may serve as Chadux’s Coordination Center Manager or fill one of the following positions:

  • Logistics Section Chief
  • Planning Section Chief
  • Field safety representative
  • Waste management specialist
  • Branch director/ division or group supervisor

Chris has 20 years of experience in the environmental industry. He has an MS in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco and is a Certified Environmental Trainer.
