Membership Chadux has two categories of membership: Full and Associate. If you have any questions about how to become a member of Chadux, please contact Chadux's General Manager, Robert E. Heavilin by phone at (907) 348-2365 or via e-mail at bheavilin@chadux.com. Full members: Chadux has two classes of members. Class A (Marine Transporter): A member who operates one or more vessels which transports, stores or handles bulk oil as cargo, in the waters of the State of Alaska. Class B (Large Facility Operator): A member who operates an oil terminal or oil storage facility with a capacity of 10,000 barrels or more for any use other than for personal consumption. Associate members: Members who do not meet the definition of a Full Member are categorized as Associate Members. Class C (Vessel Operator): A member who operates one or more vessels defined as a non-tank vessel under Alaska law or secondary cargo carrier under federal regulations. Class D (Small Facility Operator): A member who operates an oil terminal or oil storage facility with a capacity of less than 10,000 barrels. Operators of multiple small facilities are Class D members regardless of the number of small facilities they operate.
