Incident Summary
Alaska Chadux was mobilized by the United States Coast Guard under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to provide assistance in assessing and evaluating a diesel spill from the Kipnuk tank farm. Chadux dispatched one employee who worked with USCG, ADEC, and local response personnel to determine the extent of the spilled product. Following a brief training session, local responders finished the clean up using sorbent materials.
