On April 19, 2008 Alaska Chadux responded to an estimated 200 gallon jet fuel release to ground at the Crowley tank farm in McGrath.The fuel had leaked from a tank truck and collected in a parking area.Chadux sent one operations supervisor and two response personnel to assist Crowley with the response.Contaminated snow and collected product was removed into drums with residual cleanup conducted with sorbent pads.Chadux shipped a 12x21 decon berm and a Fast Tank to McGrath, but neither were deployed. Approximately 90 gallons of jet fuel were recovered.
