On 11/5/08, Chadux was activated by the USCG to investigate a sheen in Cook Inlet that appeared to emanate from a construction site near Earthquake Park in Anchorage.Chadux personnel met with the USCG representatives at the site and performed an initial site survey. The sheen in the inlet was beyond recovery, shifting the focus to determining the source of the spill.Chadux contracted Emerald Alaska to perform sampling and analysis of oil-water samples from three locations at the site.It was then determined that the USCG would not require Chadux to follow up on the analysis.
