Incident Summary
On February 28, 2005 Alaska Chadux was activated to respond to a 200-250 gallon diesel spill from a fuel truck. Chadux sent a project supervisor and 3 Anchorage contract personnel to Dillingham to respond to the incident. Chadux recovered diesel that had been frozen into the ice, separated the fuel and ice using heaters, and properly disposed of the diesel and melt water.
