Incident Summary Alaska Chadux was activated by the Alaska Railroad Corporation (ARRC) to respond the release of approximately 1,000 gallons of diesel fuel from a ruptured tank on a locomotive. Over the next seven days, Chadux responders assisted the ARRC by monitoring the spill, applying sorbents, burning contaminated sorbents, and burning contaminated vegetation. |
